Welcome to Northern Quarters

The North East’s very own Interiors Festival.

The North East has so much to offer in the world of interiors from Interior Designers, Interior Accessory and furniture makers, College courses and of course Instagram Interior influencers.

We want to create an event that will bring this community together and celebrate what there is to offer. The biggest thing for us is creating an Interiors community in the North and this is where it starts.  Having an event that brings all these elements together in one place.

The event is running over 2 days.  Saturday 17th November we’ll be at The Biscuit Factory showcasing furniture makers of the region, running workshops and having demos from some of the regions creatives.  The workshops include making your own teranium and creating a living wreath with Kate from Northumbrian Flowers, creating a wooden star with Cheryl Lumley and making and stencilling your very own cushion with Helen from The Stencil Library.  You will also get to browse the amazing art collection at The Biscuit Factory.

The Northern Quarters Interior Festival will take place on Sunday 18thNovember.  We have a range of stalls showcasing the regions artisan makers, talks from Kerry Lockwood, Interior Designer Cathy Dean and we’re pleased to announce a panel talk hosted by the Editor of Real Homes Magazine, Beth Murton.

On the panel we will have insta influencer Lou A Watkins, Interior Designer Julie Chambers, Upcycler Cheryl Lumley and Emma Dickinson, Design Manager at BoConcept Newcastle.  Should be a really interesting discussion about all things interiors. Tickets on sale now for the panel.  And all these amazing interior people will be around all day for you to talk to and plenty of networking.

Lets get building our very own Northern Interior community.
